Why Hummingbird?
And why Bohemian?
The hummingbird is very rarely seen in Europe. Except for ZOOs or with some private enthusiasts perhaps. Yet there are many reasons we should appreciate hummingbirds and wish to have them around...
They're like no other
They've Got the Moves. No other birds can fly like hummingbirds. They can fly forward, backward (and even upside down)! Except for kestrels, hummingbirds are the only vertebrae capable of hovering for a period of time during the flight. Just like helicopters and Bohemian Hummingbird do.
Wherever they show up, life flourishes
Hummingbirds are amazingly adapted pollinators, and they play an important role in pollination. Simply put - wherever they stick their pointy beak, they bring new life and opportunities. Just like we in Bohemian Hummingbird are determined to do!
They're smart
A hummingbird's brain is larger in comparison to body size than any other bird. They have a terrific memory. They know every flower in their territory and know by experience how long it will take each flower to refill. Just like we know our playfield's requirements, know by experience how to meet them and use them to your advantage.
They bring joy and happiness
When a hummingbird is visiting you, it brings good news. The hummingbird tells you that it's over if you passed through difficult times. Also, if the tiny bird visits you after any loss, it means that you will heal. The hummingbird represents a reminder to follow your dreams without letting obstacles stop you. Well, that sounds like a helicopter description to us, doesn't it? And that exactly is what we're determined to do.
They're always on the watch
Hummingbirds are curious and very investigative about a situation. They are extremely inquisitive about their surroundings and enforce safety in their territory. Just like we in Bohemian Hummingbird are.
Bohemians were... ...special
The Celtic tribe of Bohemians were conservative, peaceful, yet unafraid to explore new horizons. And we in Bohemian Hummingbird are their offsprings. Period!
